Egzona Bokshi works as an advisor on regional peacebuilding and development programming in the Western Balkans. During Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2020, she contributed as a member of an advisory group tasked with providing recommendations to the German Foreign Office on addressing issues of mobility and migration in the Western Balkans.
Egzona holds a dual master’s degree in Security, Conflict, and Development Studies from the University of Vienna and Ghent University. Her professional experience includes work with organisations such as UNDP, UNFPA, and OSCE, with a focus on peace and security, human rights.
