Lutjona Lula is a political scientist and researcher specializing in Balkan politics, European integration, and party systems in post-communist societies. Her academic work explores how EU conditionality shapes domestic political behavior, particularly in Albania and Serbia. Lula is the author of the book chapter “The EU’s Transformative Power in Albania: Is the EU’s Conditionality at a Crossroads?” published in Challenges and Barriers to the European Union Expansion to the Balkan Region. Currently she is the Executive Director of ESN Tirana. She is a graduate of the Joint Master on Interdisciplinary South East European Studies by University of Belgrade and Karl Franzens University of Graz. She also completed a post-graduate course on Digital Governance by University of Linkopings
