Frauke M. Seebass is a PhD Candidate and Carl Lutz Fellow at Andrássy University Budapest where she focuses on EU foreign policy towards Kosovo. Currently, she is a Visiting Fellow at the German Institute for Foreign & Security Affairs (SWP) in Brussels, an Associate Fellow with the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) in Berlin, and an Associate Researcher with "think nea -New Narratives of EU integration" at the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), working on EU enlargement towards the Western Balkans and beyond. She holds an M.Sc. in Peace & Conflict Studies from Radboud University Nijmegen and an M.A. in Linguistics & Communication from Potsdam University.

As part of her PhD research, she completed a visiting fellowship at the Centre for South-East European Studies at the University of Graz. Throughout diverse professional experiences from political communication and media to grassroots youth movements and cross-sectoral cooperation, her focus has always been on strengthening democraticparticipation.
